Course Outline

Intention

Effective team leadership begins with strategy. Leaders must be able to articulate the business strategy in order to determine the talent needed for execution. EPL teaches participants to first build teams with intention--a clear purpose and unambiguous expectations.

Interaction

What skills and behaviors allow for positive team dynamics and productivity? Learn how to set the stage for interactions that build trust and accountability.

  • Empowering the team to choose methods for accomplishing goals

  • Fostering and rewarding a team mindset

  • Training and developing team members on the skills and knowledge that meet their needs

  • Coaching and providing feedback to team members on their effectiveness

Influence

Support people leaders in exhibiting the right leadership behaviors both inside and outside the team. Make the case for building influence to engage stakeholders and get the work done.

  • Leveraging relationships within and outside the team

  • Action planning and implementing concepts learned
