We examine gaps in employee engagement initiatives and their intended results. We find that organizations who develop Actionable Engagement Solutions (AES) out-perform their peers, not only in increasing scores on engagement surveys, but on a variety of business and talent outcomes including increased productivity and profitability. Furthermore, we find that those organizations that focus on building initiatives based on established behavioral science have the best opportunity for lasting success.
